The
American Hockey League will crown it's 69th Champion
with a paired down playoff structure. For the 2004-05
Season, the AHL has dropped the number of teams
qualifying for the post season to 16 from the
previous 20 teams.
Our
Senators enter as the top seed in the East, while
Rochester enters as the AHL's top team and is the 1st
seed in the North. Manchester held off Hartford and
is the top seed in the Atlantic, and Chicago surged
to the top of the West.
There
is parity in the AHL this season, with any team in
the playoffs truly in the hunt. The Sens will open
their drive for the cup against the Penguins at home...
Drop
that puck and Go Sens Go!
